Turning Japanese

Is Japan a relatively closed nation which would greatly benefit from opening itself up more to new ideas from abroad? Does Japan need freer trade and a more internationalist foreign policy? That’s the argument of an important forthcoming book.

For example, my earlier blog posting on the role that the University Press of Mississippi has played in promoting comics is now available in Japanese.
